                          Inter- generational Forum

A series of meetings  in a project to bring the generations together, for a better understanding of each others opinions, views on life, needs and aspirations. It his hoped that we can promote a respect and acceptance of the things that make a thriving pleasant happy and caring community.

There is mistrust and divided opinion creating barriers between younger and older generations.

Good conversation can help. Young people should be able to express their opinions and views, helped to have their needs and ambitions addressed. Older generations should be willing to listen, pass on advice and skills acquired by experience. Everyone can benefit from listening to the other side of a story, everyone has something to offer.

With the support of the Children's Society "Good Childhood Conversation" programme EVA hopes that a better understanding of the needs, hopes, fears and ambitions of all can be achieved .

The next meeting will be be held     at the Bargrove Centre, Cromwell Road
